The UU congregations of the Hudson-Mohawk Cluster (Albany, Glens Falls, Kingston, Saratoga Springs and Schenectady) will gather on Saturday, October 22 at the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Albany to learn and share new skills and strategies for strengthening our congregations into the future.  Rev Joan Van Becelaere will offer the keynote presentation titled “The Future of Religion.” Afternoon workshops incude:

  • Beth Casebolt and Josh Shea will offer a workshop on outreach, marketing, social media and new generations;
  • Kristin Cleveland will present a workshop on welcoming, connecting & sustaining church connections; and
  • Evin Carvill-Zeimer will do a workshop on multicultural competencies across the generations. Childcare and programming will be provided. Lunch will be provided with voluntary donation to cover costs requested.
